Export and the accompanying export declaration

When you sell goods outside the European Union, you cannot escape the registration of these goods in the Netherlands by means of an electronic export declaration.

This export declaration ensures that you can take the goods across the border, and also serves as proof of the applied VAT 0% rate once it has been registered at the border.

What information do we need from you?

In order to make an export declaration, we need at least the following information:

• An authorization direct representation
• A commercial invoice and packing list
• The correct commodity codes
• Are there more commodity codes? Then a breakdown per commodity code is necessary as well as the quantity, the weight and the value.
